[thelist] Unauthorized Use of Design

Hello there fellow Hobbits!


{I'm allowed to say that since I was once the editor of the Kelvaquenta - at
that time, (a looong time ago), the largest newsletter devoted to Middle
Earth in the world.  (Our mailing list went out to over 500 people in more
than 12 countries. Our parties were legend!)}

I'd like to let you know that you seem to have stirred up a hornets nest
with your decision to copy your layout from my friends at evolt.org.

I would suggest:

(a)	Quickly sending a conciliatory letter apologizing for "borrowing"
their wonderful design.  (I've left their address in the "cc" above.)
(b)	ASKING for permission to continue to use the design for a BRIEF,
(shall we say a couple of days?), time while you work up a new and
independent design.
(c)	QUICKLY working your butt off on getting a new design up and
running.

We wouldn't want your new sponsors to catch wind of this little problem,
would we?
