Actually, the reason I mentioned this is because fdisk didn't work. I
checked this first by looking up DOS stuff on the net (through Google once
again, what a great engine to use for techie stuff!) and I wasn't getting
the same result as it appeared I should have been. In fact, the information
fdisk was giving me was contradictory, I went to delete the logical
(partition?) & it said there wasn't one But when I tried to format the drive
I was told I couldn't because of the logical (partition?, I think that's
what it was called, DOS isn't my strong point.) So, hence I needed something
different.
