evolt isn't a corporation(imagine! :) but rather a group of people that
share ideas and opinions with eachother about building the web through
the mailing list(thelist), our website, and a couple other projects..
there are a small group of 20 or so folks that colaborate and discuss
the 'day to day' issues of evolt such as hosting, bandwidth, approving
articles, making sure the websites are working, etc etc etc.. (admins,
or adminions ;)

evolts 'position' isn't the position of those 20 or so people, but
rather, the position of all the people involved in evolt, including
you..

at any rate, our 'position' it seems was a concern that has been since
resolved and taken care of..

btw, the only way we'd get a lawyer is if someone involvved with evolt
just happened to moonlight as a lawyer and volunteered their time ;)
