Anyway, I wanted to apologize for not reading ahead quite far enough to
see that the apology, etc., had already been posted. I've committed one of
my personal worst mailing list sins... oh well.

Welcome, Taz. Thanks for your honesty and sincerity. Good luck with your
site; I've learned that the hardest thing to do with a website is to keep
others from messing it up. :)

And after all this babbling, I'm afraid y'all get only a couple of goofy
tips -- but it's the best I can do after the day I had.

Do it right the first time. Spending a whole day fixing a problem you've
already spent a few months postponing really sucks.

http://tifaq.com/ is one place to start. Also, the _first_ thing you
should do when you start to notice discomfort (after seeing a doctor, that
is) is replace your mouse with a tablet or joystick. Until your hand is in
a more natural position, very little else will help.

<tip type="Recycling">
Those old computers lying around may come in more handy than you think. A
pile of ancient Pentiums that would normally be collecting some serious
dust have recently turned into several firewalls and a fax server around
our company. Ask your truly nerdy friends for help -- they might enjoy
installing things like BSD and unlabeled modems.
