[thelist] flickering sites

I have noticed several sites that combine JavaScript rollovers with flash
that make an annoying flickering if you happen to mouseover while flash is
doing it's thing (and lets face it not all implementations of flash keep a
users attention riveted to the point of not exploring the screen with the
mouse till its over...) 

For example http://www.mediametrix.com/landing.jsp

Is this just my version of IE 5.01 or is this a common documented
phenomena...
