nah, you can leave them, just don't expect to be able to use them, depending
on how your network is addressed ....


Did everyone forget about host headers?

(Jeff, I know I'm too late, but I offer this up anyhoo)

Host headers allow you to run multiple sites on one ip address
("Multi-homing" if you're nasty):
1) In the Internet Services Manager, create a new web site and point it to
the root you want
2) assign it your single ip address (127.0.0.1) and finish the wizard
3) right click on the site, hit properties. Click the 'Advanced' button next
to the ip address
4) highlight the entry for 127.0.0.1 and click 'edit' --type in the hostname
that the browser will be sending
5) confirm your way out of the properties applet and start up the web site
