> Anyone have some good resources for database beginners?
Much to my embarrassment I can't remember who put this URL into a tip a few
days ago
http://www.devguru.com
Many apologies, I just put it in my favourites & deleted the original mail.
Anyway, as you are all no doubt bored of hearing, I too am doing a
database/ASP project and I have found the concept of database manipulation
pretty difficult. After reading through reams of text & just confusing
myself more I looked at the devguru site under tutorials and found a page
about ADO & ASP and I think I know how to do it at last. As the wonderful
person who recommended this site also pointed out, all the tutorials are
available to download as Zip files which is very useful.
I subscribe to another List, "ASP for Newbies" which is hosted by
http://www.asplists.com/asplists/ . They have a variety of ASP Lists to look
at although, I do warn you, they are nowhere near as friendly as this one.
