[thelist] Standard Page Width

depends on my audience...

if i don't care about WebTV users but want to ensnare all those 
640x480 users, i go with 600px max, 580-590px on average...

if i want to capture as many as possible, i use liquid layouts...

if i want to cater to WebTV, i make sure i can accomodate 540 (? - 
i'd have to check my code)

so, as a general rule, liquid wherever possible, with 580 as my 
minimum shirnkage size (cold water will do that)...
