One of the issues in browsers that was addressed in IE5 for the mac was the
ability of the user to change the text size and font style from the users
end.

This fuctionallity has been in browsers in the options since the early 4"s
in the options sections.

Regardless of the hours spent with tables and CSS and the other coding we
use to build sites from a visual, navigational or content standpoint, in the
end it is the user that will determine how they see the site.

I get faked out by this all the time. I use IE. my fonts are set to smaller
and the font I use is verdana. One of my clients uses MS Comic at a Larger
font. at 640x480 at 16 bit color. he has a 19'" multi sync monitor and and a
8 MB video card.
but he chooses to surf the web this way.

It is a balancing act between our desire to present a visual treat vs the
users idea of how they surf.

In the end sucess is measured at the clients end, whether it be email,
forms, or shopping cart orders.

So don't forget to test early and often.
