[thelist] Netscape + Tables + Background attribute <grrrr>

replying to my own post, I know
but I just thought that I should add that there are three essential things 
here.
        - there is going to be a headline on the topline, it's own table 
is alright.
        - it needs to be flexible in height.
        - the content description column needs to be a flexible size 
within it's 290 px width.

with that said, the problem is still two things
        - the horizontal line is missing in my combination (Win2000 
NC4.5&4.7)
        - the strange treatment of text when the content description gets 
longer.

I think your problem is the column span in the table.
