that, and those shops who really care as well... it helps, but no, it's
certainly not a marketing tool...

absolutely... especially if you are sub-contracted by agency...
i do, however, put our name all over not-for-profit sites that we do
as freebies...

not a bad philosophy, just not ours... most of our clients appreciate
the lack of 'designed by...' on their pages, the rest don't care...

yep, but it isn't really advertising, now is it? although it can be
handy...
btw, there is a local organization comprised of art directors and
everyone else, really, from the local agencies and other creative-
related shops (some printers, internal design departments, etc.)...
we all know each other, we all know who did precisely what ad...
it's kinda cool, since you can sometimes watch accounts roll
around town through different agencies... it's a great organization,
and if your area has one, worth getting involved with...
