While 15" isn't all that and a bag of chips screen size usually comes down
to resolution over size. The latest batch of iMacs will go as high as
1024x768, however, if we've all learned a thing or two from Mr. Aardvark, we
should be designing for 640x480. Right A?

Sorry Dave, but I'm afraid you've got a rock habit. Doesn't the Anchorage
School District screen for that? ;-)

This, of course, is entirely untrue. My sister just bought a cheery
Tangerine iMac DV and they've finally included support for attaching a
second monitor. It can be any size, but it can still only go to 1024x768.
This extra little VGA port on the back also allows you to connect your iMac
to projectors and TVs. Neat-o... I was surprised myself.

Well, I'm only on 17" (1024x768) and 15" (640x480), which brings me to my
next point. The additional monitor port only supports video mirroring. That
means it can't show two screens full of info, they must show exactly the
same thing. So really, if you can get your eyes to adjust to the smaller
font, 1024x768 on a 15" iMac monitor will do you just fine.
> Oh, yeah. That mouse. Kensington makes a nice, inexpensive replacement.
You can also buy slip covers that extend it into a less-round shape. I
prefer the Logitech USB Mouseman Wheel... mmmm finger scrolling ....
> If I'm wrong about the dual monitors, please let me know!
I'm sorry Dave, but I'm afraid you are.
