If you expect to be exchanging any artwork with other professionals
in a Mac environment you should expect to have PS 5.5 and Illustrator
(I'm using 9) at the least. Other great mac tools for design and
graphics work are GIF Builder (for gif animation mouseovers and the
like) and A Smaller Gif (For Compression of Gif Images). I'd be lost
without the first two though. Can we say everybody's using them.
While were at it BBEdit rocks, Anarchie rocks, Fetch Sucks (although
I didn't register Anarchie in time and I'm using it right now), Get
GearBox for connection and email account as well as browser settings
(incredibly handy product), Us Eudora for email etc etc etc. These
products make working so easy and so nice.
