Stickies are great! And did you know you can windowshade them?

I keep a number of stickies on my desktop at any given time. Right
now I have 10, and only one is open, the others are shaded. One has
the list of Coder's Health Tips given on this list way back, and I do
the exercises when I'm feeling stiff and sore.

Another has useful key commands I always forget. How to zap the PRAM
(Command+Option+P+R), how to take a screenshot (Command+Shift+3), a
selective screenshot (Command+Shift+4), and a top window screenshot
(Command+Shift+CapsLock+4).

Another has my Christmas list - yes, my Christmas list! When I see
something I'd love to have but can't afford right now, I drop it on
the sticky note. When my in-laws ask me for a list (which they do
every year), I copy the sticky and send it along to them. I got 4
things off the list last year.

Best of all, Stickies are free with the OS, and can be a variety of
(non-fruit-flavored) colors, and can be styled with fonts, sizes, and
styles.
