[thelist] PHP and mySQL ENUM

I'm building a web site that uses PHP to query a mySQL database. If I have a 
table that contains a column that's defined as: column_name ENUM("value1", 
"value2", "value3", "value4"), is it possible to retrieve the ENUM values 
using PHP?
