3. The NT swerver I'm running IIS on, seems to make ASP [ODBC]
connections to Oracle quite fine for a while and then all of a sudden it
tells me:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' 

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no
default driver specified

Hello Adam,

We encountered something similar before. You might want to explore the
possibility of using the Oracle ODBC driver instead of the Microsoft ODBC
driver.
