I have a G3 processor (iMac DV and PowerBook G3 Bronze) with OS 9.0 and 9.04
respectively. IE 5 and NN 4.73 as the browsers on both machines. 800x600
and 1024x768 respectively. The above issue is confirmed in this setup.

However, I could use the links; although in IE, it took forever for the
green text to appear when mousing over the menu and the cascading menus were
only working in NN. Don't know if that is intended to give leeway to
differing browser functions.

This can also be confirmed for my setup.

This did not happen at all. These graphics and their functions worked
properly in both browsers for both machines at both resolutions. Please see
my comment below concerning the MRJ.

Ah, PCs, eh? ;O)

These specs really don't make that much difference between machines. The
thing you want to be sure of (if they are using an OS 9 flavour) is that the
have the most current CarbonLib installed. Also, the want to make sure they
have the most recent MRJ installed. I believe it is 2.2.2 and can be found
at asu.info.apple.com.

As for the actual issues, I am not sure what it may be that you would have
such disparate functionality cross-plats. Anyway, I hope this helps some.
