Don't be cheap - spend up and get at least a 19". I'm looking to buy two 19"
Viewsonics within the next week for some new machines. Two of my friends have
them and have no complaints. Also, I'll be grabbing a Matrox G400 Dualhead and a
17" or 15" as a second display.

You're in the US, right?

	Viewsonic Optiquest Q71 (17") .27 DP
	Quality at an affordable price.
	$219.00

Get two of these at the absolute least with a G400, and you'll have a monster
resolution for ultra cheap...

You'll be looking at these monitors for hours every day, and days on end, so
don't hesitate to splurge. My last monitor purchase was $2k+ a few years ago for
a 21" - but I don't regret it at all (except when I have to carry it somewhere
:P).

Yes, LCDs will come down in price eventually, but monitors retain their value,
and I find myself using my monitors with various computers as needs arise (gut
one box, build another, etc). Also, do you wanna be cheap, and suffer with a 17"
for 2-4 years waiting for an LCD to become affordable?
