The way I understand it, Procmail is the local delivery service for a *nix 
box. SendMail is the Server to Server delivery service. And Eudora, 
Netscape, Pine, are the local mail readers.

e.g. Pine -> SendMail -> SendMail -> ProcMail -> Pine
