Since Macs display at 2.2 (I think) and PCs at 1.8, or vice versa, it 
doesn't matter, simulating 2.0 gamma and making your images look good 
there should make the images look decent on both Macs and PCs.

I read that somewhere, I'll see if I can dig up the link.
