i agree, but then i only use imageready to optimise quickly at the end of a
development process. i've never used an image slice function. or a gallery
builder, etc. what other web 'bits' could they have introduced?

for me, the web bit is perhaps 5% of the design and cutting to HTML process, so
i'm more appreciative of the new stuff they're implementing elsewhere. the
unlimited layers and layer grouping is ultra cool. i get so unbelievably sick of
hitting the 100-layer limit.


anyone know what image formats will support the weighted compression that they
talk about? JPG or PNG? sounds very very useful...
