My little brother has a rock n' roll band.  He says it's in the vein 
of Phish.  I don't know much about Phish, but I call it bluesy, 
jazzy, jammy.

Maybe I'll make a web site for him.  I'm thinking about it.  To get a 
head start, maybe Evoltians can help:

1. give me some URLs to really cool band web sites.

My understanding is the major labels build sites for bands that are 
signed with them, so a lot of band sites suck.  For example, a band I 
like, Cibo Matto, went from a pretty sucky homemade site to a really 
sucky Warner Brothers- made site.  Neither site comes close to doing 
them justice.

Are there band sites that don't suck?  Are there band sites that 
rock?  URLs, please.

2. Any other ideas about building a band site... multimedia 
thoughts... other things that seem like a good idea... or things to 
avoid?

I mostly want something to get me started thinking about this, so I 
can be more educated if/when it's time to really get serious...
