[thelist] rock n' roll web site

Hmmm, you'll probably disagree with my idea of a cool band site, but for me,
this is the best band site I know:
http://www.yat-kha.com

Why? I mean it looks pretty terrible right? Well, it's cool because it's
constantly updated. As a fan, the things I want to know are
1) Where can I see the band
2) What are they doing?
3) What's the latest news
4) Give me a couple of songs I can download in case I'm new to the band

The Yat-Kha site fulfills the first 3 of these and also provides song lyrics
and a whole load of other bits and pieces of information.

On the other hand, here's another band I love, whose site LOOKS great, but
is designed in a very non-web kind of way.

http://www.themonsoonbassoon.swinternet.co.uk/

Even though they update their news fairly often, I don't tend to visit the
site that much.

Hope this helps - hopefully you can combine both style AND usefulness in
your brother's site.
