[thelist] Linux/PHP/MySQL advantages over WinNT/ASP/MSSQL?

This is going to sound like a "sitting on the fence" response, but at this
point, it all comes down to the developers and sysadmins, not the platforms
themselves. OS's don't kill people, people kill people. --er something like
that.

The real question is, what's the level of expertise you have to work with
there? Or is the main office providing the human gurus along with the boxes?
--I'd use that line of thinking to drive your decision. You can make a
benchmark say whatever you want, and the Big Boys love making benchmarks....
