>>What version of Lasso are you running? > >looks like 3.5 Okay. That's good. >>And they were working before? When was the last time he used them? > >They were working the day before. Hmph. Okay. >>Offically, the -9984 message means that you've requested a >"format file with >>a suffix that isn't listed in the Lasso security settings" >(from the Lasso >>Reference Manual). > >Lasso Reference Manual: would be a nice thing to have. Go here: ftp://www.asd.k12.ak.us/ and get the binhex file called "forerika.hqx". It's got the 3.5 manual in PDF. It's not searchable or anything, but it's printable! :) >>The other thing that will make that error show up [...snip...] ><INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="Category" VALUE="News Release"> Those look okay, assuming that all the files are where they are supposed to be. Do the files in the "-response" and "-addError" fields exist where they should? >Is this the manual? > >http://www.up.edu/Lasso/ >(probably not. it doesn't seem too helpful...) No, that's your administration page, and it is helpful for many things, like your security settings. :) Some more questions: 1. Have you tried rebooting the server? That will sometimes fix this, and since this is a brand new problem with pages that were previously working, it might help. 2. Have you tried a different browser? (Netscape 3?!) 3. What is the action on your form set to? The response file listed in your error message was "go.lasso" and the response file you show above is "add_release-reply.html". 4. Does the database insert happen despite getting the error message?
