If you read the footer on the page, I actually got permission from Be, Inc.,
to use those icons...  :-)

Yeah, I do need to tweak the style sheets a bit, see if I can't clean up the
fonts somewhat.  And I'll definitely make more of a definitive statement
about the contents of the site.

i have to agree... you can't always expect users to do that, and 
sometimes resizing fonts set in px gets wonky... for that reason i 
have another approach altogether (Give the User Control Over Your 
Fonts; http://evolt.org/index.cfm?menu=8&cid=253)... in addition, if 
yer leading were more (line-height), i don't think the font size would 
be as big an issue...

other than the name or the icons, there's nothing describing the site...
where do you get the fonts?  whose are they?  are they free?  what formats?
yes, it's about fonts, but *what* about fonts?

also, since i just stepped into this thread (i accidentally clicked the 
email icon), i hafta ask (assuming you haven't answered)... are the 
BeOS icons that you're using freeware?  are there any copyright 
issues with those that you know of?
