IIS keeps its settings (directory structure, virtual directories, web
application settings,etc) in its own 'metabase', a file kept in the
\winnt\system32\inetsrv\ named metabase.bin. These settings are *not* in the
Registry. You wanna poke around in it like you do the registry? Grab
MetaEdit 2.1 from Microsoft: <wrap>

If you have an older version, please upgrade, as MetaEdit 2.0 has a bug that
would corrupt your metabase (not good), and 2.1 supports migrating metabases
to other servers (very good).
