Okay so the problem was...

I didn't restart after download, You would have thought that the Netscape
installer would have thrown up a prompt to tell me to do so.

And you would have also of thought that a cancel button would be on the
install wizard...

And you would have thought that a users would interact with a computer like
a computer...

Oh well problem solved... tell all your friends that they aught to restart
every morning bright and early

No, It was installed on my root...

I'll try recreating the problem tonight at home, and let all yeah all know
what it was...
