	You're talking about Netscape 4.x, right? Because in IE 4+, the only
form element that "shines through" a positioned div (I personally avoid the
word "layer" to prevent confusion with the namesake Netscape element) is the
<select> element -- and that can be hidden by changing its CSS visibility
property to "hidden".
