... to abuse Jane Roberts (for those old enough to remember) ... ;-)

'Seth Speaks':

"Also, I'd like to point out that there is tremendous power in being able to
leverage your company's existing "data capitol", and in being to build and
expand that resource. And the technologies used to achieve this have to come
together somewhere, why not let yourself become the catalyst for that
mechanism?"

... a mighty big +1 there, Tex!!

Personally, I think THIS is the 'big boom' in web development today. I
don't think it's too tough to become a HUGE hero developing Intranet reports
right now at any company. Yes, it's going to require some db knowledge.
It's also going to require some 'department-level' business acumen. Being a
'techie' who understands the basics of AP, AR, HR, receiving, shipping,
manufacturing, MRP, distribution, sales, forecasting, ect.... pretty much
puts you in the driver's seat to deliver on anything - and build one hell of
a rep!

I'm excited ... but then again ... I'm sick and twisted enough to enjoy this
kind of junk!!

    ;-)

Just echoing!
