[thelist] DW code - why "return XXX" within onLoad?

Hi,

I'm beginning to work with DW3, and I'm peeking at the
code as I go along.

If I utilize the built in behavior to set the text of
the status bar using the onLoad event, the code reads:
<BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" 
   onLoad="MM_displayStatusMsg('It\'s about time you 
showed up here!');return document.MM_returnValue">

Why the return document.MM_returnValue?  I thought the
return used in this manner only made a difference when
used with the onClick event handler.
