Yeah. I start my design process on a 580x300 canvas in Fireworks or
Photoshop, depending on my mood and materials at hand. That gets my critical
stuff where it will be seen first. After that, I figure out what has to be
static, what has to be liquid and how to make sure I don't end up with
unwanted white space. My goal is that noone should ever have to scroll
horizontally.
