Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

The Freeware version certainly warns you if the file you're over-writing
(in either direction) is newer than the one you're replacing it with.

However, you need to refresh the directory before you do this, as it doesn't
maintain a constant track of modification dates.

Cheers
Martin

WS_FTP Pro checks the dates and times and asks you if you want to proceed
or not. You can also set it NOT to overwrite newer files on the server,
too. Not sure if their freeware version does this, as the pro version has
more bells and whistles. You can download a demo version and see what you
think if you wish, too.
