Damn hot-keys. That last message got sent too soon by accident. it should read:

----------- original message -------------
From: "Seth Bienek" <seth at sethbienek.com>

Anyone else notice the, uh, unusual URL of the home page?

http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-201-4562916-0.html?tag=goto+hell

Am I reading the "go to hell" part right, or is that some kind of web
developer parameter standard that I'm out of the loop on?

I went to the front page and checked the real url as found there, and it is:

http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-201-4562916-0.html?tag=bt_pr

but http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-201-4562916-0.html

works just fine also. I kind of question that the url variables are real at all,
or were appended later as some kind of joke (it is kind of funny). Maybe Madhu
is a little spiteful? Maybe not, I don't know. But those variables in his
message strike me as somewhat suspicious.

Just my two cents
