Prolly the same way that the same Nielsen folks keep statistics on
what percentage of American households view certain TV programs.
While they may have a box from Nielsen to record such, it can always be
skewed.

Does anyone know how people like MediaMetrix and Nielsen Netratings keep a
supposedly accurate track of "unique visitors".
AFAIK, there is no totally reliable way to do this. Session variables are
cookie-based, and people can delete cookies. So...
Anyone know ?
