speed.
speed.
speed.

correct tight code renders faster, period.
when the code has the correct attributes the browser spaces images and
content.
you can of course doctype to play with rendering in newer browsers, but then
you loose the advantage of coding once.


one of the things i suspect , and have no material to back it up is:
small tight pages, invite clicking to see what is next, seem to involve
visitors and hopefully will get them to the money page. that's my theory
anyway......
