ok, but where is the semicolon supposed to be?
if I add Response.Write strsql this is what I get:

insert into vinstri (name) values ('Félagsstarf')(url)
values ('felagsstarf.html')(menu) values ('elmenu1')(order)
values ('1')

it seems to be holding the values correctly, I simply just
don't know where I'm supposed to add the semicolon.

| objRS.Open strsql & ";"

this did nothing, it still asked for a semicolon.
