Or even:

<% ' BEGIN CONTENT %>

(Or your nearest scripting equivalent)

That way you don't serve your comments. I've even started getting really
verbose in the ASP comments, leaving instructions about page structure, what
not to do when editing this file, etc. Because the server strips it all out
before it's served, it doesn't affect page download time. Sure, it'll have a
minor effect on the page processing time, but your web host doesn't charge
you by processor time.
