This is really hard. This is what you need to do.

Go to www.real.com and get a copy of the free realproducer. Whack it on
reasonable pentium and choose the option to record live onto the web!!

Set up a microphone and line input source like a CD player or tape deck in
case the live feed fails for some reason or just to play background music
behind the reporting.

You can make it as complex as you like.
