Paste the code you're using to update the database with and we'll start
there.

Subject: [thelist] ASP frustrations
Greetings! I'm fairly new to the world of ASP, which may account for a
possible obvious error, but this thing is giving me a massive headache.
I'm trying to set up a generic login/registration page, and I'm actually
using code from the Wrox book that I have (Beginning Active Server Pages
3.0). I have made no adjustments to the code other than the location of
the database.
The thing seems to work fine from the beginning. I'm able to register a
person just fine. However, when I try to register a second person, the
first entry is overwritten!
Does anyone know what could cause this? Is it a permissions issue on the
database file, or a problem with the code, or something else entirely?
Help!
If it makes a difference, I'm running Win2k with IIS, working off the
local host.
Thanks!
Dan
