|i'd play with levels and/or curves in photoshop...  as for my stab,
|well, it's lost in the mists of time... as it is, it was for an internal
|site when i was at UB...

The curves adjustment helped I think. Another version at

I'm not real happy about the tear pieces placement in the first place, so I'm
going to be skinning down my paper supply some I think ;)
