If you haven't received a reply yet, try adding background="" in the table 
that is giving you grief.

ie :

<table width="90%" background="i/cell-back.gif" cellspacing="0" 
cellpadding="0" border="0"><tr><td> some stuff here

         <table cellspacing="3" cellpadding="3" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" 
background=""> ...
