A known point but I'm not sure how its relevant in this instance since I
don't think I mentioned doing this?  And I certainly didn't mean to imply
that I did either.

Well this is ultimately the major failing of DMOZ. And it seems to be
endemic to the entire effort. I have another site in a different category
that has been dead for over a year and I can't get it delisted. I can't even
get a reply form that editor.

Hence my real lack of enthusiasm for using DMOZ in general. I know of very
particular instance where the info on the site is wrong and, in the case of
the dead site, useless.
