[thelist] image not found

I have a page with one gif in the upper right corner which for some reason 
won't load in IE 5.5 but will in Netscape 4.76 and Opera 5.  Plus it loads 
fine in Dreamweaver's IE preview window.  The page is not live so I can't 
post a url but I would appreciate any possible resolutions here.  TIA!
