I want to thank all of you for your responses!  You have helped me quite a 
bit -- not only by letting me know my options (or lack of them ;)) but also 
for giving me the facts I need to back them up with my client.  I had a 
pretty good idea that there was not much they could do about it (although 
the visible watermarking is new to me and definitely something I want to 
investigate further), but with technology moving so fast all the time, I 
like to get verification to make sure that something new hasn't slipped by 
me (Clever Content is a good example -- your posts were the first I had 
heard of it).
