Depends entirely on the dhtml in question. On a Mac, dhtml with 8
million scripts often is a browser killer for me - IE or Netscape -
either one.

Neither Flash nor dhtml are respectful of browser resources or stability
enhancers.

Badly authored of either will kill browsers.
