Aside from "get paid up front," does anyone have any advice about building a website for a local (city council) political candidate? In particular, what makes such a site useful or compelling... what level of interactivity is appropriate... etc.? Also, does anyone have any favorite candidate-centered sites (preferably local sites) that you think are especially useful or compelling in some way? If so, please provide links. Finally, I'll be looking for online resources about this type of site too - what keeps people coming back, what compels people to support the candidate, etc. If you have any favorite links along those lines, please share. Thank you!!
