As far as Acrobat goes, there are getting to be quite a few sites
that translate PDF into HTML.  

The one at access.adobe.com is for people who can't see, so it
is text only.

I have one that translates to HTML/3.2 on one of my websites.

There are some that use CSS to produce *pretty* versions of
HTML from PDF files.

So the difference would be that no sites translate Flash into 
MPEG or animated GIF graphics?

Hey, do what you want. It's a lot of time and money building
traffic, and if you want to tell users to go fubar themselves, 
I'm sure that webmasters with sites that compete with yours
will applaud your decision.
