[thelist] quirky IE/dns?

user is on Win2k, IE 5, no proxy/firewall

weekly (only weekly) she attempts to connect to:

http://caldwell_spartin.fastime.net/corelink/onlineauth/

only to have IE spit up the DNS error/server not found page.

--a shift-Refresh is successful.

Anyone have ideas how/why/where this behavior is rooted, and fixes?
