[thelist] Announcement: Evolt milestone..

At 9:52 CST this morning, the 2000th subscriber to thelist joined us! It
was 2 years and one month ago that we launched thelist to the public,
178,000 *high quality*, low noise emails ago. We've pretty much run the
gamut of topics relating to web development in that time. The thing that
sticks out in my mind as setting us apart and above is the serious
quality of almost every email that comes through, our self-moderating
style, and the pride that many of you take in keeping thelist such high
quality. Personally, its been getting a pleasure getting to know many of
you over this period of time :) I'm also looking forward to getting to
know many more of you over the *next* two years ago, and excited to
watch all of you get to know eachother too.

You guys rule!
